The Family of Meredith Rose Norris

Meredith Rose Norris. The mere mention of her name, even amidst the heartbreak we currently feel, immediately takes us to our own special memories we shared with her. Whether you remember that she was your first friend, your confidant, your inspiration of how we all long to treat others, or someone who led you to Christ, the thing that is certain is that her impact will carry on for eternity.

On May 6, a tragic car accident claimed Meredith Rose Norris’ earthly life. And while it greatly hurts, we take solace in knowing she entered the arms of her Lord. How do you share in such short words the incredible life that she lived in her 28 years? I am not sure that you adequately can. Meredith was an overcomer! She was determined, resilient, and independent. She was so resilient and independent that she moved 1,000 miles from home to live out God’s Will for her life and find her true calling. From a young age, it was evident to Meredith (and so many who knew her) that she was called to ministry, and she was determined to do ministry where ever it was needed, however it was needed, and to anybody and everybody that entered her path. She truly lived a selfless and sacrificial life, leaving an unbelievable legacy of being the hands, feet, and mouthpiece of Christ. We will never be the same because of her presence in our lives.

Her parents and brother are now left with, not only the devastating heart break that comes with losing a child and a sister, but also the financial burdens during this tragic time. As a young pastor, Meredith was not concerned with insurance, but rather salvations. We pray that you will join us as we try to relieve some of the financial strain off her parents and brother, so that they can get Meredith’s body home from Virginia and carry out Meredith’s final wishes! There is no amount too small, as it all helps! Meredith showed up for everyone, let’s show-up for her now! Thank you in advance!
