Assalamu Alaikum!
Monash University Islamic Society presents the 2020 Ramadan Charity Campaign. This year, with the unfortunate lack of our annual Grand Iftaars, our hunger to feed the fasting believers has not been satiated.
But, there is still a way to ensure that even YOU can receive the reward for feeding Allah’s fasting belivers.
This Ramadan, MUIS has teamed up with Australian Peace Organisation (APO) to ensure meals are delivered to those who need it most in this Holy Month.
Social distancing laws have put financial strain on many workers of lower socio-economic standards in 3rd world countries.
The funds raised from this campaign will be distributed as Food Packs to the poor and needy in Pakistan and Bangladesh, as well as the Rohingyan Refugees camps in Bangladesh.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) stated that giving charity does not diminish one’s wealth, and what better time to give than now — in the Holy Month.
APO stands firm on a 100% donation policy and your money will be divided as such:
$15 - Iftaar pack for an ENTIRE MONTH for one person
$120 - Iftaar pack for an ENTIRE MONTH for one family
“Whoever feeds the person who is breaking his fast, he will have the same reward without decreasing anything from the reward of the fasting person.”
