Akron Snow Angels

Akron Snow Angels was established to help the less fortunate in the community, some of whom may not be seeking out traditional assistance through a shelter environment. We provide warm, dry items and most importantly interaction, respect and encouragement. While food is important, we also want to help provide the most basic needs.

This is a grass roots, volunteer led project, with the first mission taking place February 1, 2015. We serve the Akron community and to date, have distributed items and touched lives in the areas of North Hill and Downtown Akron. We hope extend the territory once we have obtained more donations, a facility and more man power. All monetary donations help to run the daily operations - paper, printing, pins, trash bags, clothing, toiletries, food, beverages, any fees associated with domain names and hosting of website or PO Box. All operations are run by volunteers - no individuals are compensated for their time.
