My name is Jacquelin "Paige Bond Turner" and I am a mom of two and care taker of my grandson who is seven years old and lives in Tennessee.
I discovered a small bump on my breast and went to get medical care and was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer that affects only 1-20,00 people. My cancer has spread and I have lost my breast and has went through 6 rounds of chemotheraphy. The cancer I have is Gene mutation (A sudden and permanent change in my gene)
Dr says there is a 97% chance the cancer will spread and attack my stomach next. Cells are made of three parts but mine is made of one part which will cause this cancer to spread , once it get to my stomach, there is nothing the Dr. can do to save my life, then it spreds to my colon. I have surgery in November and the Dr, will have to remove my entire stomach ; intestines etc to prevent the cancer from spreading to my stomach. Yes I am afraid, cause I have suffered much already but I want to stay around to watch my sons and grandson grow up.
The D.r says its hereditary and my two sons 17 & 18 years old have since been tested and are waiting for their results. I have lost my hair, thank God for this beautiful wig, my job of 12 years has been very grateful to let me come in and watch the cameras since there is nothing more I can do due to the amount of suffering . I have to endure and I will endure. Please pray for me casue I am the breadwinner of 3 and please pray for my sons cause the Dr, Say, its a high probability that both my sons will also carry the genes.
God knows I do not want them to have to go through one chemotherapy. I have always worked for everything and do not know how to properly ask for anything from anyone. I just want to be around for my sons and I believe that God will use this as a testimony for others.
Yes, I am very scared and frighten and at times I lose my faith in hoping but I am always reminded that God is a just God. So , even though there are many rough times emotionally, physically, and spiritually and now financially, I have to remain steadfast and continue to hope without wavering which honestly, yes its tough most days. Just Thanks for listening and if God touches your heart to give than every penny adds up until all needs are met. Thank you again!!
