Campaign of Care

This devastation hit way too close to home today. Take a look at the picture above, and imagine a family of 5 clinging to a toilet for their lives. That’s exactly what happened this morning to my dear friends sister and her family. They have seen things they should never have to see, but they survived as the entire house was torn away around them. Others were not so lucky. Neighbors and friends did not survive the night. They are not the only family that I know that have lost to this event. People that I care for and love so so much in Cookeville Tennessee have been through a night of hell and I am so glad to know that they are alive. But their homes are gone or devastated to the point of unlivable. Cookeville is an amazing community of human beings that have shown me love and have become my family in many ways through the years. Please show your love and support. These are some of the biggest hearted people you could ever meet. Charles Williams has served our country, serving two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. He was wounded and disabled in combat so finances are limited. Tamara and the children are suffering from PTSD and trying to establish some "normalcy" in an ever changing environment, especially now with Covid-19. They are trying to rebuild and can use all of the love they can get. Sometimes, the best way to show that love is financial.
