Haiti Medical Mission Trip 2017

A few years ago, I attended nursing school and the entire time I felt the calling to do medical missions.  God placed a heavy burden on my heart to help those that could not afford or did not have healthcare.  Although I did not complete nursing school, I found the answer to my calling in Haiti.  Imagine a place where there is no general store to get your basic needs such as Tylenol, vitamins, soap, etc.  This is the environment Haitians face everyday with no funds for transportation, which means they have to walk miles just for a headache or a heart attack.  Blood pressure problems are common amongst Haitians and a blood pressure clinic is held regularly for those in need.  

By donating money, you are directly helping those in Haiti.  Once in Haiti, we run a child sponsorship program which enables a child the opportunity to receive food everyday and the chance to earn an education.  We also help aid in construction for the school in Haiti and Church. We will be working on expanding the compound to allow larger mission groups to go to Haiti.  

The funds are due by the end of February 2017.  This trip means so much to me because it gives me the opportunity to help others with the skills that I learned in nursing school.  I spent countless hours with little to no sleep with my nose in a book. At the time, I didn’t understand that God was giving me the knowledge to help those in Haiti.
