Solidarity & Relief Fund for UO Student Workers
Donation protected
UO Student Workers are in the process of organizing a union, and we need your help! The UO administration claims to care about its students and workers but this isn’t reflected in our compensation or our working conditions.
We are overworked, underpaid, and told it’s for our own benefit. In reality, we do more for the university than it does for us. Understaffing and rising costs of living have only made matters worse, and no effort has been made by the administration to remedy the situation. It’s clear we have to fix it ourselves but to do this we need support.
When we win, our union will be the largest undergrad student worker union in the nation.
Donations to this fund will be set aside for student workers taking collective action to win:
A living wage for all undergraduate student workers,
A two-week pay period,
Improved working conditions,
Adequate staffing and training,
Flexible scheduling policies,
Job security,
Anti-harassment measures,
…and more.
If you think student workers deserve any of these improvements please donate!
