Help Roosevelt Racers Reach the Finish Line!
We are the Roosevelt Racers, a passionate group of students from Eleanor Roosevelt High School competing in the international F1 in Schools (STEM Racing) competition. Our journey is about more than just racing—it’s about innovation, problem-solving, and pushing the boundaries of STEM. F1 in Schools challenges us to design, test, and race our very own miniature Formula 1 car, giving us real-world experience in engineering, science, and design.
After months of hard work and preparation, we are thrilled to announce that we’ve advanced to Nationals following a strong performance at the F1 in Schools Eastern Regionals. Our dedication paid off with several top awards, including:
- Best Verbal Presentation
- Best Sponsorship & Marketing
- Best Project Management
- Best Team Video
- New York State Champion
- Overall 1st Place at the F1 in Schools Eastern Regionals
We spent countless hours refining our car, practicing presentations, securing sponsorships, and honing our engineering and manufacturing skills. We’ve come a long way since our rookie year in 2017, when we placed second in the New York Super Regional and ninth at Nationals. In 2020, we earned the Best Sponsorship & Marketing and Best R&D awards at Nationals. We are proud to continue building on this legacy!!
We’re also excited to announce new partnerships with Duggal Visual Solutions and MakerSpace NYC, and if you or anyone you know is interested in connecting us with potential sponsors, we’d love to hear from you.
Thank you for your continued support—together, we can bring home the championship and inspire future innovators! As we prepare for Nationals, we need your help to cover critical expenses like travel, materials, and competition fees. Every donation, big or small, will bring us one step closer to achieving our goal.
We're raising funds to cover registration fees, travel expenses, materials for our F1 car, and more! Join us in this exciting journey to bring home the championship and inspire the next generation of innovators.
