Move Mountains for Mercy Doho

Mercy Doho is a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunty, cousin to family members, friends and community. She is known for her loving smile, helpful nature and self-sacrificing spirit. Never did she allow the stress of her life and issues with work or family damper her smile and joy. Her Moto always is: “Smile and everything will work itself out”. Whether it was raising her children, taking care of other or helping out in the community, she had always put others first.

Unfortunately, the unthinkable happened to her on April 10th, 2017. She was admitted to the hospital for a brain aneurysm that ruptured. About a week later, she suffered a massive stroke. Unfortunately the massive stroke affected her ability to eat, her speech, her motor skills- as she is not able to walk or perform basic activities on her own.

After 5 weeks in the Intensive Care Unit, has been discharged to a skilled nursing home, where she will require Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapies. Her greatest wish will be able to talk and walk again. Please help Mercy and her family cover the ever rising medical costs of her treatment that is to take place over the upcoming months. Let’s make a miracle happen and help Mercy walk and talk again.
