Save St. Vincent de Paul High School

Thank you for hearing our plea! Supporters of St. Vincent de Paul High School have created this as one of our fundraisers to continue our school’s 106-year legacy. We received the heartbreaking news that our school faces closure by the end of the 2023-2024 school year unless we raise $500,000 by March 30th, 2024 to cover a temporary operating deficit which is primarily salaries and benefits for our loyal and dedicated teachers and staff. Much of this financial shortfall is the direct result of increased need for tuition assistance to our most deserving students. In giving to SVHS, you are giving directly to this culturally and intellectually diverse student body of students and their futures.

Some of our students are 2nd, 3rd, 4th and even 5th generation St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs. Many others are welcome newcomers to our school community. They choose SV from over 3 counties and 20 middle schools to benefit from our unique experience, learning from our dedicated faculty who promote 21st-century skills building in a traditional college prep setting where faith, service and leadership are the cornerstones. Our graduates regularly have their choice among the finest universities in the country, with scholarships that more than repay tuition costs. Our football team regularly defeats schools several times our size, this year winning the state-wide championship.

St. Vincent de Paul College Prep is a unique phenomenon and resource in the Petaluma area that nothing can replace. This will only be strengthened by our transition this year from being a parish-administered high school to an Independent Catholic school with a lay board of directors. Your generosity now will ensure our future success. Don’t let a school that offers such a special opportunity for future students close right as our seniors graduate.
