This fundraiser is for my medical bills that are piling up at a tsunami rate.

Here's my story,

In Feburary of this year I was diagonsed with Hepatocellular Carcinoma of the Liver, a non cureable cancer, so a transplant is the only way to take care of this.

The treatment I have had so far is two Y90 radiation sessions to treat a 2.5 inch and a 1.5 inch tumor on my right and left lobes of the liver. This radiation is to shrink the tumors to become eligable for transplant.

In 1972 while in Basic Training at Fort Ord California I believed I contacted Hepititis C while getting vaccinations with the Air Shot Gun, in 1984 I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C and a biopsy confirmed cirrosis, at that time there was no cure for the virus. In 2002/2003 I was cured of the virus with a year long Interferon treatment, After that I was advised that I could develop cancer at any time. After 51 years from first contact the virus caught up with me.

This is very difficult time for me and my family, I had no intention of going this route but the circumstances changed, I have Insurance that is covering most of the charges but the co-pays are piling up and if I do qaulify for a transplant it is going to be expensive.
