St Joseph's School for disabled and disadvantaged
Donation protected
St Jopesph's is a school in Eswatini in desperate need of assistance and funding.
The school's aim is to care for the disabled and disadvantaged children of Eswatini, and so it houses hundreds of children faced with different mental and physical handicaps. However, the school is understaffed, its infrastructure is crumbling, and it's devoid of much-needed decoration, colour, games and mental-age appropriate literature (math textbooks aren't exactly the most fun).
We aim to raise money to fund both seemingly affordable things -books and paint supplies- as well as, with support, more costly things such as making the entire campus more wheelchair friendly. Physically handicapped children suffer greatly when having to cross rocky dirt slopes to get to the cafeteria and certain classes, and autistic children have no calm therapeutic room to calm them down and lift their mood when necessary. Money will also go toward anti-slip floors in the bathrooms, duvet covers, adult diapers, sanitary supplies and electricity.
Every donation truly does make a difference, no matter how much it is.
