Starbucks Union Leader Fired
Donation protected
Starbucks has fired a union leader at the Sheridan & Bailey cafe in Buffalo.
Danny, one of the only queer & POC partners at Sheridan & Bailey, was terminated at the end of their shift on Friday for violating time and attendance policies that are selectively enforced.
Sheridan & Bailey and other Buffalo Starbucks locations have helped ignite a nationwide movement of workers demanding accountability from the billionaire corporation.
Workers who are exercising their human right to organize a union should not face unfair scrutiny for the sake of union busting.
If Starbucks workers had a union, workers would have the right to end “at will” employment and to prevent the company from firing workers with no due process or contractual protections.
A Starbucks partner of four years, Danny has dealt with Starbucks' extreme anti-union tactics on a daily basis for months. Even when faced with intimidation and surveillance on the job, Danny has fought to make their voice heard and to lift up service workers everywhere.
Due to the bravery of workers like Danny, well over 100 Starbucks locations around the country have now filed for union elections.
By donating, you can help show Starbucks that its workers cannot be silenced and that this movement will not be stopped!
