Steven Reyes - Died Doing What's Morally Right
Donation protected
Steven Reyes is an immigrant from M. Lipa, Lipa City, Batangas, in the Philippines, who, among many other immigrants, came to the U.S. for a better life. Here in LA is where he met his wife and started a family. He is a son, a father, a brother, a good friend and a hard worker. Steven had a loving heart and cared for everyone. Steve always ensured his family was safe. His work ethic was incredible, and he worked hard to manage and support his 90- year old mother (our Lola). He is preceded by his daughters, Nelle and Kaycie Reyes; Aurelian--first-born grandson (whom sadly he has never met); his children in the Philippines, Charlie and Rosanna.
On October 6, 2022, Steven was working and was brutally attacked with a scooter by juveniles attempting to steal a case of beer. Steven tried to stop them, but unfortunately, doing the right thing costed his life. He was rushed to LAC-USC hospital with traumatic injuries to the head and, sadly, passed away that night with one of his daughters and family at his bedside.
