Support for Gavin & Alex Demers

The words “tragedy” and “loss” do not begin to explain what has unfolded for brothers; Gavin and Alex Demers, of Hudson, NH. These young men, Gavin (24) and Alex (21), unexpectedly lost both of their parents within one week.

On October 1st, their mother, Elizabeth (Hammar) Demers, passed away due to complications from an ongoing illness. On October 7th, their father, Timothy Demers lost his life in a tragic accident.

They are left to not only work through their grief but also need to attend to ALL of the legal and financial strains that come with both of their parents' passing.

This is something so tragic and unimaginable, and the entire family is heartbroken. They have all been through so much lately. Prior to their parents' passing, they were already grieving for their cousin Lyric (19 years old), who was like a brother to them and passed away this May.

Gavin and Alex are trying desperately to keep their family home so they will have a place to live and cover household finances, legal expenses, and all the unknowns that will inevitably come their way. All the while maintaining their jobs and, more importantly, taking time to grieve.

It is with hope that we can all come together to lessen the unfortunate financial burdens that Gavin and Alex will continue to face. Any amount of support will do so much to help get them through this difficult time.
