Hi - I’m organizing a fundraiser on behalf of my sister- & brother-in-law and precious niece, who lost everything in the Eaton Fire in Altadena.

Frank, Bridget, and Maggie (along with cats Trudy, Junebug, and rescue dog Edna) were ordered to evacuate about an hour after the fire started and by the next day, everything was gone. We’re so grateful they’re safe, but they have a long road ahead to recovery. Funds will assist with needs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid- Your help will allow us to address the many aspects of that recovery and support the McGraths through this crisis.

Bridget has served her community as a special education teacher in the LA area for decades, helping families meet the unique needs of children with a wide array of disabilities with a compassionate and deft hand. As a comedy editor, Frank has entertained fans of Tacoma FD, The Tick, Children's Hospital, Arrested Development and Broken Lizard's "Quasi" over the years. Before the fire, he had already been severely impacted by last year’s entertainment industry strikes.

Guests to their home were routinely treated to magic or acrobatic shows courtesy of their contagiously enthusiastic and creative 8-year-old daughter, Maggie. While going through the unimaginable, she has maintained incredible resilience and displayed the same indomitable spirit of her parents.

Frank and Bridget poured so much love and effort into renovating their dream home, but the real magic was evident in how it brought people together. Whether planned (like the legendary "Franklight™ Theatres" outdoor movie screenings) or spontaneous, the McGrath's home was always open.

Any amount you can contribute will be a huge help during this challenging time. We're seeking support to cover unexpected costs and get Frank, Bridget and Maggie back on their feet. Please share with your friends, colleagues, and communities too.
