Hi, my name is Damilola Olajubutu. I am the founder and executive director of the Rural Nurture Initiative (RNI).

I started this fundraiser to support the noble work that RNI is doing in Africa.

Rural Nurture Initiative (RNI) is a dynamic non-governmental organisation dedicated to facilitating inclusive and sustainable rural development in Africa (currently working in Nigeria, Ghana and Benin Republic).

With over 58% of sub-Saharan Africans living in rural areas and 80% of the rural population living in extreme poverty, RNI is committed to empowering rural communities, fostering resilience, and catalyzing positive change among rural people and rural places.

Since 2019, RNI has provided agricultural empowerment to rural farmers, provided social protection initiatives that have helped many rural primary pupils get back to school, provided food assistance to combat hunger, and given relief materials to ameliorate poverty among vulnerable rural households. The organization has also executed medical outreaches to improve healthcare access and has provided portable water to ensure access to water and better hygiene in rural areas.
