Marianna needs your help!
In early September of this year (2015) Marianna came down with a simple cold that quickly turned into walking pneumonia , Marianna began to experience intense burning and stabbing pains in her wrists. They were so painful she would scream and cry!!
We took her to every kind of
Dr. and Specialist as the horrifying pain continued to work its way up through Mariannas arms, back, knees and eventually her feet. This intense pain has put Marianna into a severe disability status.
She currently cannot feed herself, walk, bathe, or sleep well. Her body is in such intense pain it causes her to twitch or convulse.
After 2 Hospital stays and meeting many teams of Drs. they recommended surrounding her with a strong pain team to help her cope daily. (There currently is no pain medicine that can treat or work on this type of medical condition).
The pain she is enduring currently is more forceful and painful than any other disease out there.
Marianna has RSD an amplified pain syndrome that feels like someone replaced her blood with gasoline and lit a match. She is experiencing intense burning and stabbing from the inside out. We have done extensive research on our own since traditional pt, ot and holistic care are not working and she is going back words and confined to a wheel chair or crawling on her knees.
What we found was an intense program only offered at 5 clinics nationally. Its an intensive 5 day a week 7 hour a day program that she will have to push through. She must meet the pain head on and desensitize her nerves. This can take anywhere from 3-8 weeks. With your help we can get Marianna to a clinic in Nebraska where her Mom and her will stay until she can leave walking and pain free!!!
Unfortunately insurance companies are behind and not supportive of out of state treatments. We cannot wait any longer for their approval, as we need to get her to Nebraska right away to begin therapy!!!
The Program is out patient so we will be staying in a hotel as our second home for upto 8 weeks.
We would be so grateful if you could help us to get her there so she can get back to smiling, dancing, cart wheels and just being an 11 year old kid without any pain.
She Is such a sweet girl and loved by all!
