Photography has been an integral part of Mitch's life from as young as 12 years old.
Every pay cheque from the age of 14 years was put into savings that paid for his cameras, camera lenses and camera accessories - which assisted in helping Mitchell pursue photography and his passion for capturing landscapes.
From anything to travelling to the Blue Mountains on the weekend or Sydney's Northern Beaches to traveling around China and Hong Kong for a photojournalism opportunity, travelling to Bali, or road tripping to Tasmania/Queensland in Aus - Mitch is always seen with his camera in hand, capturing memories, experiences and moments.
After a year of travelling around in our home (a Toyota Hiace van) many memories were made, experiences had and thousands upon thousands of photographs taken to remember these amazing moments.
On the 04/03/2016 between 9:30pm the night before and 7:30am that morning, someone (or someone's) broke into our tiny home which was parked in the driveway of Mitch's parents house and stole an estimated $17,000 worth of camera gear and laptop from the car.
On top of this devasatation all two hard drives (2 tb) worth of memories and proof of Mitch's amazing talent was also taken, along with the back up.
For all those who are a part of Mitch's life you will know how important and devoted he is to his photography, and to all those who do not know him but love his photographs on instagram I'm sure you can also understand his passion.
Lets not let this one awful event discourage him from his amazing talent, the world deserves to see his photographs.
