For years I have not worried much about accepting donations. If someone offered I would tell them to take the money they would like to give me and buy themselves a treat.
Google was paying me enough to live comfortably, I was grateful, and able to focus my energy on creating the best content I was able to.
Then something changed.
Revenues were down at YouTube, this meant my pay went down too. To compensate Google handed out a hefty pay cut to it's content creators. My income is now about a third of what it once was.
For now I am shifting my focus to replacing that income in a variety of ways. This is one of them.
I'm very much looking forward to devoting more of my time and energy to creating good and useful content that can help the individual and the world as a whole.
