Urgent Aid for "Robin's" Survival and Recovery

Tax deductible
Help "Robin," another abandoned adoptee dumped in Florida.

She just aged out of a religious institutional program outside the US. One that operated under the guise of care but instead subjected her to years of isolation, control, and emotional and psychological abuse. When she turned 18, she was abandoned in Florida with no skills, no support system, and nowhere safe to go.

Now, she’s navigating a world she was never prepared for—alone. She has no family, home, income, or access to basic resources. She is one of the many hidden victims of institutional harm, the kind of youth that advocates like myself and organizations like Themis Youth Law & Advocacy fight tirelessly to protect: young people failed by every system that was supposed to help them.

She is incredibly vulnerable. And now, she’s left to fend for herself in a world that can feel overwhelming and unsafe.

She needs immediate support to survive—and eventually to heal.

Funds raised here will go directly toward:

Emergency housing and food

Transportation to a safe and stable location

Basic needs: clothing, hygiene, communication tools

Educational and vocational resources

Every dollar helps—truly. If you can’t give financially, simply spreading the word can make all the difference.

This is about survival, but also about dignity. About giving a young woman a chance to reclaim her narrative and build a life of her own choosing.

Thank you for seeing her, believing her, and standing with her. ❤️
