Urgent Support Needed for Flood Recovery Efforts

TL; DR My house is fubared due to flood damage.

So, March 27, we had this massive storm front come in, this like hardcore thundering storm. I thought it wasn't too bad. I did some beading, went to bed.

Two hours later I wake up to find my nephew yelling that the house was leaking. I investigated, and soon enough, the area where the foundation eroded due to Hurricane Dolly ('08) was seeping in water. And was slowly letting water in. Frantically we tried to dry up the leak but it didn't work - the water kept coming in. And soon after, the rest of the house was letting water in. I kept on praying it wouldn't get worse, but sadly, it did. We put most of the things that were on the floor on higher ground, so we're ok with that.

Around four, five-ish we kind of gave up. We called 911 for an evacuation, packed up what we could. I stayed behind for record keeping: Video Link I stayed in the bathroom informing FB of the situation and what could be done, etc.

About 9, the storms slowed, and the waters started to recede. I spent the rest of the day cleaning the floors, making sure the house was ok. Garage was flooded, so I had to open the door to drain it.

The kicker is that the two guest bedrooms, including mine, were carpeted, meaning all that flooding got absorbed by the carpet. The carpet has been removed, and the cement foundation is cleaned/sanitized as best it could, but we still need flooring.

Also, it came to light that the central hvac unit was on all this time. Meaning the interior coils are infested with mold or such impurities (I can smell it every time it turns cycles on)

One last item fouled up is my bed, which was right next to a mold infestation on the carpet. The area of box spring facing the wall was covered in mold as well, and although the mattress itself was seemingly unaffected, I dare not use it for regular use (that said I am still using it but only that part because I have nothing else to use -_-)

I am asking for US$1,250 for the following, in order of most importance:

$400 for AC cleaning and repair (the coils themselves have not been cleaned in three years)

$400 for mattress set (or futon set whatever is cheaper).

$400 for linoleum tiling for both rooms, parts and labor included. (this is an estimate)
