Valerie Boothby

Our amazing friend, Valerie Boothby, thought she was dealing with food poisoning, only to find out she had a tumor the size of a softball in her stomach. After half a dozen blood transfusions, the doctors succesfully removed the tumor (and unfortunately part of her stomach). She was disharged from the hospital after a few days, only to be re-admitted a day later for a second, more instense surgery due to complications from the tumor removal. Val is home, in great spirits, and recovering. Of course, now all the insane hospital bills are coming in and she has been out of work for over a month. (No bartending, no tips, no real income.) If you can spare anything it will got a very long way, to help such an incredible person. Val does so much for others and rarely asks for anything in return, but right now I know she needs every dollar she can get to help with the medical bills. Thank you in advance for any generosity you can spare.
