Fresh Start From Domestic Violence

Hello, My name is best known as Gyny Beats within the Furry Fandom, but outside of it you can call me Skylar. Around the start of 2024 I became a victim of some of the worst domestic violence from my husband. He had verbally and lightly physically abused me a few times throughout our 7 year marriage, but this incident was worse than anything else. It left me with bruises and a really bad bloody nose just to give a brief idea. After I got away and went safely to my parent’s home, the first thing he contacted me about was not about what happened, no, he wanted to contact me about a bill we owed and threatened to sell my fursuit if I didn’t send him $200 towards that bill. He literally made a public facebook marketplace listing for my fursuit head that anyone could’ve seen and did it as a way to manipulate me to send him the money. Luckily I have acquired my fursuit back in my possession along with anything else he can use to manipulate me. It’s been a difficult month to say the least, and I’m grateful for my friends and family who have all been an amazing support. I’m also grateful for my friend Hund the Hound who is working with me to organize this GoFundMe, to look for help from the Furry Fandom in this difficult period in my life. The goal is to raise enough money so that I can afford my own apartment that’s closer to work, because at this moment I am forced to travel between states in order to keep working my job that I love. We’re also aiming to raise money so that I can afford a car, cover bills like health insurance and therapy, and other means to help me get my life back on track.
