Raise money for Great Ormond street hospital
Do you want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money in aid of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and every donation will help. Me and my family are organising a fundraising event, in honour of my brother Daniel who had Down’s syndrome, he was a bright, special and a loving child who sadly lost his life in great Ormond street at the age of four.
Daniel was admitted to Great Ormond street to mend two holes in his heart, however due to suffering with pneumonia, he died two weeks after he was placed in a coma, therefore, we want to raise awareness and money to give back to those who work tirelessly everyday to support children who are in Great Ormond street. Daniel will be turning 40 next year and this event is also in celebration of his life and memories our family shared with Daniel.
More information about Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity: Every day brings new challenges at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). Every day, 619 children and young people from across the UK arrive. Every day, doctors and nurses battle the most complex illnesses, and the brightest minds come together to achieve pioneering medical breakthroughs. And every day is a chance for you to make a difference. This extraordinary hospital has always depended on charitable support to give seriously ill children the best chance to fulfil their potential.
Therefore in honour of the incredible staff and team who supported Daniel and his parents through this journey, me and my family would like to raise money to Great Ormond street, in contribution to their hard work and give back to those who selflessly support children everyday. Therefore any donations would be greatly appreciated and I would like to thank you in advance for all your support, thank you.
