My name is Harlyn Cavanagh. I am 9 years old, and my best friend Giselle Perez passed away last night (7/10/2015) from meningitis. Giselle was 10 years old and taken from all of us too soon. Giselle was, a funny, kind, sweet and beautiful girl. I am starting this foundation as a way to help her family.
Gigi (that's we all called her) and I met in kindergarten and was loved by many. Her smile and personality were larger than life.
I loved her family as if they were my own. She leaves behind two amazing parents, Sergio and Ellie Perez as well as a spunky younger sister, Gianna (age 5) and an adorable little brother, Giancarlo (age 1).
