Nepal Relief Fund : Nepali Blogger
Dear friends,
Nepal is in the moment of crisis, and your small help can make a huge difference.
Summary
Nepal is in a state of Emergency, seriously devastated by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake that occurred on April 25, 2015. Thousands have lost their lives and millions have been affected by the worst earthquake there in more than 80 years.
The condition is getting worse with repeated after shocks.
Please help Nepal in this critical situation.
The government of Nepal has declared a state of emergency. Already over 2,000+ people have been pronounced dead with thousands of additional injured. Many homes as well as cultural and religious heritage sites have been destroyed. Many people have been displaced due to the destruction and continuing tremors. Immediate relief will entail search and rescue, medical care, food, water, and shelter.
While the destruction in Kathmandu has been clearly visible in photographs that have circulated on the Internet, many rural areas have been similarly affected, where there is urgent need for rescue and relief.
World leaders and global charities have offered emergency aid to Nepal, as the government grapples with the scale of the disaster. But this help is never going to be enough.
Credibility and Capability
Credibility and Capability are two major aspects that are important for raising funds for causes. Please read more about me below that will help you decide with such aspects.
Transparency
All the money collected will be directed to relief agencies who need the money the most and a very transparent accounting of the money spent.
The initial plan is to support local NGOs working at ground level, outside of Kathmandu where the condition is worst.
I promise to report all the details transparently on NepaliBlogger.com
