Habari Gani Family!!
Join Parkchester’s Annual Kwanzaa Karamu celebrates African Culture and Traditions reaffirming human dignity within the Black family and community through the practice of the seven principles. Saturday, December 29, 2018, at St. Helena Church, 1315 Olmstead Avenue Bronx, NY 10462 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm we will acknowledge the fourth principle UJAMAA (COOPERATIVE ECONOMICS).
Parkchester’s Annual Celebration of Kwanzaa is fast approaching you have time to support the program. We do not receive financial resources from grants or from the supportive agencies logos on the flyer. Every year we solicit business, agencies, and companies, etc., but it is not enough for materials, performers, speakers, cooks, and volunteers, etc., to keep the Kwanzaa program running. The Parkchester community has not held any events that celebrate ethnic cultural, heritage, and traditions from Black folks by Blacks folk’s independent from political or religious institutions with a population of over 40% African Americans we can do better! In the spirit of NIA (Purpose), we can do this!!!!!
