Documentary Working Title: 'The Waterhole is Dry ' (subject to change)

Water is Life. 

Australia is in severe and prolonged drought...  major water systems (eg. Murray-Darling Basin; Menindee Lakes and other rivers and streams are drying out due to drought and, CSG mining) have been mismanaged, and....   there is political policy that is completely at odds with sustaining this dry land.  However, the film TPP will create will NOT be a 'political' film.....   read on:

In past weeks, the community has been watching the country burn to the ground (NSW & QLD) - the issues surrounding the water are varied, complex and far reaching. 

The First Nations people have always been wise to water in this driest continent.  This is the core premise for the story-line being developed, to be made into a feature-length (minimum 60 to 90 minute) documentary.

Producer Jaya Khoobsurat (Tyrian Pearl Productions - 'TPP') is URGENTLY seeking FUNDING to cover ongoing research, basic wages and travel needs (NSW, VIC, SA, QLD & NT) during the next few months of production.

It is essential to secure funding as Jaya works on research and the beginning of production, covering a  basic wage and travel costs for the next 3-6 months of time and efforts - time is of the essence as the heat of summer unfolds.

Seed-funding - your caring donations - will go towards the following:

Community support for TPP's Film Production services (writing, filming, editing, pre-production) for four months

Travel &  accommodation for the next three months for TPP Cast & Crew

Jaya has great need to upgrade her computer world to work on this doc (at very least, one large screen to save her eyes during long hours of edit; and, if additional funds are raised, a 27"iMac); plus two external hard-drives

Hire of gear, and insurances for gear and public indemnity

NOTE for early 2020: A 2nd GoFundMe will be organised early in the New Year 2020, to cover the larger Production and Post production costs - to be further defined over coming weeks, which will be another larger sum, to cover wages for ongoing hire of film crew and gear, travel costs, insurances, etc; and the final polishing of the post-production edit - to make the project a quality finished film - therefore any additional funds raised in this first fundraiser, will be used towards fulfilling that next goal.

If each person had a goal of raising $200 each, times 300 people, that is $60,000. See if you can make this a private goal - and that secures me as a filmmaker, and... I can begin to pay others to assist me. Please.
