Send Tyler to the Calgary Stampede

Donation protected
Tyler is a 13 year old boy from Amaranth Ontario. He lives with his mom (Jill), dad (Mike), his older brothers Tobi and Trevor and his younger sister Alana.

If you were to meet Tyler, you would get an immediate sense that he is a "good kid". He is quiet, polite, honest, shy and everything that you would expect from a young man who has autism. While he may not be readily accepted by his classmates because he "talks funny", he has won the hearts of countless spectators, competitors, coaches, judges and more in the rodeo arena.

That's right. Tyler is a bull rider! Not only is Tyler a bull rider but he is an exceptionally good bull rider! In 2016 Tyler placed second in the Dodge Ram Rodeo Series. Recently, he won the Ontario High School Rodeo Championship and is heading to Tennessee the week of June 19th, just two days after he competes in the Dodge Ram Rodeo Season Opener in Orangeville on June 17th. Once Tyler gets back from Tennessee, he will be competing in rodeos in Arnprior, Listowel, Chatham, Catherine QC and Kitchener. That takes us to July 7th and it is from here that I am asking for your help.

On Friday June 2nd, we were officially notified that Tyler has qualified to compete in the Calgary Stampede. This is the rodeo of all rodeos! The Calgary Stampede is to Rodeo as the Stanley Cup is to Hockey! The chance of a 13 year old boy with autism, from Amaranth Ontario who has only been bull riding for two years making it to the Calgary Stampede is almost zero. But here we are!!

With four kids who are all involved in different activities there isn't enough money for Tyler and both of his parents to travel to Calgary to take in this once in a lifetime opportunity. The funds raised here will go directly toward paying for Tyler and his parents travel costs, hotel, rental car and incidentals. I am happy to provide a complete breakdown of costs, upon request.

I am personally committed to ensure that Tyler competes in Calgary and that both of his parents get to be there to share this epic event BUT if others are able and willing to help, I can provide better and newer equipment for Tyler so that he is not only safe but he looks good when competing in the most dangerous sport in the world and on rodeos biggest stage.

Your help is greatly appreciated and this experience will be remembered for a lifetime and beyond!

Thank you for your generousity and your time.
