Baby Jericho is a brave 11 month old boy fighting a serious condition called Hirschsprung’s disease, a congenital disorder that affects the large intestine. Children born with this condition are missing nerve cells in parts of the colon that help move stool through the intestines. Without those nerve cells, stool cannot move normally through the affected area, potentially causing severe constipation, intestinal blockages, abdominal swelling, feeding difficulties, and life threatening complications. As Jericho’s father, I want to do everything in my power to support my son, help him receive the care he needs, and give him the best possible future. His journey has involved significant medical challenges, including pull through and reversal surgeries, hospital stays, and ongoing care. These are challenges no child should have to face so early in life, but Jericho’s story is about more than the difficulties he has endured. It is about love, perseverance, hope, and the importance of standing up for the people who need us most. Alongside my commitment to my son, I am preparing for the 2027 release of my 23 & 1 album and its accompanying release tour. This project represents more than music. It is an opportunity to use my platform, my experiences, and my voice to bring attention to issues that affect individuals, families, and communities every day. The 23 & 1 tour will help raise awareness for Hirschsprung’s disease, mental health awareness, and rehabilitation. These causes represent the importance of supporting people through difficult circumstances, recognizing struggles that are not always visible, and helping individuals find hope, healing, and a path forward. Jericho’s journey has given this mission an even deeper meaning for me as a father. While his fight with Hirschsprung’s disease is a very personal part of my life, I know there are countless other families navigating medical challenges, individuals struggling with their mental health, and people working hard to rebuild their lives through rehabilitation. Their stories deserve to be heard, their struggles deserve compassion, and their futures deserve hope. Through the 23 & 1 album and release tour, my goal is to bring these conversations into the spotlight and encourage people to support one another. Music has the power to connect people from different backgrounds, open conversations about difficult subjects, and remind us that none of us should have to face life's hardest battles without hope. This fundraiser is part of that larger mission. Support will help with the needs surrounding Jericho’s medical journey and the awareness efforts connected to the 23 & 1 movement and its 2027 album release tour.
