My mother suffered a dramatic interracial brain bleed which led to being paralyzed on the left side of her body. She is now 100% bedridden and needs 24-hour care. I am her primary caregiver, and she relies on a catheter and a colostomy bag. My daily care for her is long and strenuous, and I had to close down my previous businesses to provide the care she needs. Every penny is needed and goes directly to her care, our home, food, bills, and medications. We both appreciate your generosity and prayers in our time of need. The funds donated will help pay for medical bills and everything else Medicare does not provide, such as food, phone bills, electric, water, insurance, hygiene, and extra help for private care. I am working 16 hours a day to provide everything she needs, but eventually I will need extra help, which can be very expensive for private home care so I can have a day of rest and continue to take care of mom and stay healthy. To all who make a donation, mom and I thank you. We never asked anybody for anything, but the bills are piling up and there's not much money coming in. Eventually, I will be able to get back to work, but right now it's just me taking care of mom 24/7—changing colostomy bags, bathing, changing catheter bags, keeping up her hygiene, cooking, shopping, paying bills, house upkeep, paying insurance, administering medicines, etc. It's a lot of work, but it's my mother and my job to take care of her.
