- Our public lands on the Olympic Peninsula are facing increasing pressure from illegal dumping, timber poaching, and environmental neglect. As someone who has spent a career in these woods, I’ve seen the damage firsthand and know how important it is to protect these spaces for future generations. That’s why I am launching Public Land Patrol—a dedicated, 3-5 day-a-week effort to monitor our forests, document illegal activity, and report findings directly to law enforcement and land management agencies. My role is strictly to observe and report illegal activities to law enforcement and land management agencies. I will not intervene directly, but will focus on gathering accurate information and evidence to support the authorities in their work. Maintaining a professional presence on these rugged forest roads requires specialized gear and a full-time commitment. With your support, I can cover the daily operational costs (Fuel, maintenance, gear/upkeep, time) needed to keep this patrol consistent and effective year-round. Your contribution will help me respond quickly to incidents, gather evidence, and work closely with local authorities to ensure our public lands remain safe and healthy. I’m asking for your help to make this mission possible. Together, we can protect our forests and keep our public lands safe for everyone. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable Olympic Peninsula.
