Give The USM Staff A Nice Night Out
Donation protected
So everyone in Connecticut, and likely the entire Eastern seaboard, has heard about "Mac and Cheese Boy" at this point, and his temper tantrum over the bacon jalepeno mac n cheese. If you've watched the video, you'll also be impressed by how well the employees handled the situation, and the kick-ass take down from Chef Bill. Our idea is to say thank you to the Employees of the Union Street Market by getting a gift certificate to send as many of them as we can for a nice night out at Geno's Grille. The USM employees made us all proud that night and captured what it means to be a Husky. I will take all money raised to purchase a gift certificate from Geno's in Storrs Center which will them be presented to the USM employees. Any donation will help, and we just really want to say thank you.
For Reference:
I am a freshman from Exeter, Rhode Island studying here at UConn and the other student who is organizing this campaign with me is Olivia Korte, a senior. We are both regular customers of the Union Street Market. All money raised from this fundraiser will be taken by us to purchase a gift certificate from Geno's Grille in Storrs, CT to be presented at the end of the campaign to the Staff of UConn's Union Street Market.
I am working closely with UConn administration to ensure that the employees will be within the confines of the rules of the union when recieving this gift.
