Support fearless musical vistas with Frequency Festival 2025
The lineup for the 2025 edition of Frequency Festival has been announced , and while tickets are now on sale, the costs of producing the event exceed what sales will generate. This year we have three international artists, and it's no secret that air travel isn't getting cheaper, nor are hotel accommodations. So we're asking our supporters to chip in with whatever they can afford. It might sound like a cliché, but every little bit helps.
We're very proud of this year's lineup, which includes the first ever US performance of the brilliant UK pianist Pat Thomas, who will join the acclaimed turntablist Mariam Rezaei in their first US duo performance. We're also thrilled to present the Chicago debut of Welsh violinist Angharad Davies. There will be Chicago debuts from Mivos Quartet, Ian Antonio, Zosha Warpeha, Noah Jenkins, and the duo of John McCowen and Madison Greenstone. Joshua Abrams will lead his Natural Information Society Community Ensemble through a brand new piece, pianist Mabel Kwan will give a rare solo recital, Chicago's Beyond This Point will debut two new works, and Ensemble Dal Niente will bring the fest to a memorable conclusion.
