Cozy Cats n Kittens, Inc.

Hi cat family, recently I met a woman named Jennife Moore. She’s a hard working lady that lives in Hornell.  She has a heart for cats and kittens and tries to give them help .   She took in a cat name LARRY 2 years ago. The owner grew tired of him. .  LARRY is a sweet boy who is approximately 4 years old suffering from teeth  pain. He’s drooling and having a hard time eating.
    We are running the Go Fund Me for her and the money will not go to her directly but rather to the DANSVILLE ANIMAL HOSPITAL at 110 Clara Barton St from any money donated here.  If you’d rather send any amount directly to them for her account that’s all the same and would be so helpful for him.  Just give his and her name.

We are taking 10-12 feline leukemia kittens and juveniles into our rescue to live out their lives in the most comfort we can possibly provide. That will of course entail more medical expenses and we are hoping to raise $3,000 towards those needs. We won’t be doing any sponsorships of these kittens and cats as I feel that would be hard on the sponsor to know they are dying. The usual sponsorships we do helps us with their vetting needs so we hope this campaign will be successful towards that end.  Also, at $1 a day for each cat (which is a conservative number), our food and litter bill will be at least another $300 each month. 
     They will be coming in just a few days and there is a very large approximately 20x20 room for their exclusive use.  We are setting up volunteers to give them regular quality time…. We are not just going to put them in a room to die alone.  If there are any kittens that look healthy at 6 months of age we will retest them for the SLIGHT chance they may have passed the virus. It is highly unlikely unfortunately due to the facts around the situation. 
     This rescue’s main purpose to to provide comfort and relief for suffering cats and kittens. Once active symptoms of leukemia start to show they will be humanely euthanized by our vet.  We are not interested in your comments or ideas around this topic. Allowing suffering to continue has no purpose.  These cats will all eventually die BUT we could provide them with potentially 3 good years!! We will DO THAT without question. We are hopeful that they can remain symptom free and HAPPY for at least a few years! ❤️
