Help continue this McKinney Christmas tradition of a real tree in the heart of Historic Downtown McKinney!

Please support our 6th annual fundraising campaign, a McKinney Christmas Tree – A Gift to the Community, to raise funds for the installation of a real 34' Blue Spruce tree from Michigan. Donations of all sizes are accepted to help bring this tree to McKinney.

For a tax-deductible donation of $30 to the campaign, families and organizations will receive recognition at the Christmas tree display throughout the holidays. The first 100 donors who contribute a minimum of $30 will receive a commemorative keepsake ornament.

Don't miss the Downtown McKinney's annual tree lighting ceremony at Home for the Holidays on November 23 at 6:30 p.m. Asleep at the Wheel will perform live immediately following the tree lighting.

Over the past 12 years, McKinney Performing Arts Center has played a pivotal role in the cultivation of community in the City of McKinney. With over 1,300 performances, 60 art exhibits, and 5,000 instructor-led classes, we are proud that our historic venue has been the backdrop for many memorable experiences.

After many years of adorning the Courtroom Theater stage, our curtains are looking quite tattered and old. It’s time to say “The End.”

Our goal is to raise $10,000 from July 1st to September 30th. Every penny collected will go to purchasing beautiful lush curtains that will set the scene for many concerts, plays, and recitals to come. With your contribution, MPAC can continue to be the gem in Historic Downtown McKinney.

All donations are welcome, but there are four levels that come with a bonus. 

Four Donation Levels:

$50 - Name on the website.
$75 - Two tickets to one MRT performance.
$250 - Name on the "Supporter Wall."
$350 - Brass nameplate on a chair in the theater.

For a tax deductible donation of $50 to the campaign, families and organizations will receive recognition at the Christmas tree display throughout the holidays. The first 100 donors who contribute a minimum of $50 will receive a commemorative keepsake ornament.

 “We are so excited to have the Christmas tree in downtown’s square this year,” said Amy Rosenthal, Director of the McKinney Performing Arts Center and Main Street. “We want the community to think of this tree as a gift for the entire community. It will serve as a beautiful backdrop for holiday photos and be a sight for the entire family to enjoy.”
