Liam’s Lunches of Love
Donation protected
My Name is Liam Hannon, I’m 11 years old, and I live in Cambridge, Massachusetts. I live in an area called Central Square where many of our citizens who are experiencing homelessness like to hang out. There are so many people in our world that need a little help, but I realized that my own front yard was a great place to start. That’s why I decided to start Liam's Lunches of Love.
One day a week I make bag lunches and hand them out to the homeless community in my neighborhood. My family and I walk up and down the streets of Cambridge and deliver lunches using our garden wagon. I’ve seen people who are feeling really down on themselves. But when we hand them a lunch, their faces just light up. I can tell they’re really grateful for the food, but I think their favorite part is the drawings and notes we leave on the bags. There are people who save every single bag, staple them together, and make a whole book of them!
We’re feeding so many people that our wagon is just too small. I want to keep feeding as many people as I can, so I need your help! Donations made to this campaign will help me make as many lunches as possible and buy a new Electric Beach Wagon for Lunches of Love.
Since we’ve outgrown our garden wagon, this new one will allow us to carry more, go farther, and also have items to give out on the wagon at all times. We’re also going to make the wagon available for other organizations to use and are going to craft our own containers on top with a great looking paint job. We’re even going to donate our garden wagon to a couple we met on the streets so it will be going to a really good new home. Any extra money I raise on this campaign will go straight to buying food, drinks, and supplies for the meals we make.
It takes about $2.00 to make one lunch and I want to make as many as possible. I’m setting the starting goal for my campaign at $10,000 but I hope to raise even more than that!
• Goal #1: $10,000 would allow me to make 5,000 lunches. - DONE
• Goal #2: $20,000 would allow me to get the Electric Beach Wagon I need to transport all the lunches and make 2,500 more lunches. - Done
•Goal #3: $30,000 would allow me to make even more lunches and help me push towards my goal of getting our own Lunches of Love Food Truck.

I’ve learned that doing something small really does make a difference. Even though these people may be homeless, they are still real people with different personalities, different needs, and different reasons for being on the street. Everyone needs a little kindness in their life and I have met some really wonderful people since I started Lunches for Love.
"If everyone made lunch for someone less fortunate one day a week...no one would be hungry."
Please help me help as many people as I can! NO ONE SHOULD BE HUNGRY and everyone could use some extra love. Spread the word: https://www.gofundme.com/liamslunchesoflove
