My name is Mrs. Kenya Cal, and for the past 15 years, I have been blessed to serve others through makeup artistry and beauty. Today, I am stepping into a bigger vision. I am building Nu Nation Beauty & Healing Center—a purpose-driven beauty and empowerment organization designed to help young women discover their worth, build confidence, develop life skills, and recognize the gifts and purpose God has placed inside of them. This is more than a makeup business. This is a ministry of purpose, confidence, encouragement, and transformation. My Vision Nu Nation Beauty & Healing Center will ultimately serve young women ages 16–21, providing a safe and uplifting environment where they can learn skills that prepare them for life and their future. Through beauty experiences, mentoring, workshops, and empowerment programs, I want to help young women: ✨ Build self-esteem and confidence ✨ Learn etiquette and professional communication ✨ Develop healthy self-care practices ✨ Prepare for college, careers, and entrepreneurship ✨ Discover their talents and God-given gifts ✨ Learn about professionalism and personal presentation ✨ Develop confidence for interviews and professional environments ✨ Understand their value and learn to set healthy boundaries ✨ Connect with positive mentors and role models ✨ Believe that their circumstances do not have to determine their future I want every young woman who comes through our doors to understand: "I am worthy. I have purpose. I have gifts. I have a future. I have something valuable to offer this world." Why Makeup? Makeup has been a major part of my journey for 15 years. But I have learned that makeup can be about so much more than cosmetics. Sometimes sitting in a makeup chair gives a woman the opportunity to slow down, talk, be encouraged, feel seen, and look at herself differently. I want to use my experience in beauty as a doorway to something deeper. We can enhance the outside while helping build confidence on the inside. What Your Donation Will Help Build My initial fundraising goal is $25,000. These funds will help me establish the foundation for Nu Nation Beauty & Healing Center, including: $7,500 — Professional Makeup Equipment & Beauty Supplies Professional products, tools, sanitation equipment, lighting, furniture, and supplies needed to serve clients. $5,000 — Business & Brand Development Business formation, branding, marketing, website development, photography, promotional materials, and other startup needs. $5,000 — Space & Studio Development Deposits, initial rent-related expenses, furnishings, décor, and creating an environment that feels welcoming and professional. $4,000 — Young Women's Empowerment Programs Educational materials, workshops, etiquette programming, confidence-building activities, career preparation, and mentoring resources. $2,500 — Community Outreach & Scholarship Support Helping make programs and opportunities accessible to young women who may not otherwise have the resources. $1,000 — Administrative & Unexpected Startup Expenses The many small expenses that come with establishing and operating a new venture. This Is Only the Beginning My ultimate dream is to establish a permanent Nu Nation Beauty & Healing Center where young women can come for beauty services, mentorship, workshops, encouragement, and personal development. I envision a beautiful, welcoming space where women can learn, grow, heal, connect, and prepare for their future. I want to create opportunities for young women to hear positive words when the world may have told them something different. I want them to know that their mistakes do not define them. Their past does not define them. Their circumstances do not define them. Their purpose is greater. Why I'm Asking for Your Help I believe God has blessed me to be a blessing.
